This year Badi Diwali is being celebrated for two days but the actual Diwali will be celebrated on 1st Nov. 2024 because the shubh muhurat for Goddess Laxmi Pujan is on the evening of 1st November and Dhai Dooj will begin on 3rd November.

- Dhan Teras Day & Date and Timing for Puja: Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Shubh Muhurat for DhanTeras Puja 6:30 to 8:13 PM. There is a precious time of 1 hour 45 minutes for the worship of Lord Kuber and Goddess and for shopping on this day.
- Narak Chaturdashi (Choti Diwali): The second day of the five days of Diwali is Chhoti Diwali (Naraka Chaturdashi) celebrated on 31st October this year. Many people are celebrating Chhoti Diwali on October 30 as well because this year all the dates are of 2 days. The Chaturdashi Tithi will begin at 1:15 PM on 30 October and End at 3:52 PM on 31 October 2024.
- Diwali 2024 (Lakshmi Puja): According to the Hindu Calendar (Panchang) Diwali puja will be held on 1st November and will be celebrated on this day. If seen according to the Panchang date, Amavasya begins at 3:52 PM on October 31 and ends at 6:16 PM on Nov. 1, but due to the puja Muhurat Diwali being on 1st November 2024. It will be celebrated on 11/01/2024.
- Govardhan Puja|Annakut Day & Date, Muhurat: November 2, Saturday, Goverdhan puja morning muhurta begins at 6:34 am and ends at 8:46 am which means morning time of Govardhan pooja shubh muhurat will be for 2 hours 12 minutes. Govardhan Puja Shubh Muhurat, for the evening from 3:23 PM to 5:35 PM, it will be 2 hours and 12 minutes.
- Bhai Dooj Day & Date, Aparahna Time: Bhaiya Dooj will be celebrated on Sunday, November 3, 2024, on Dwitya Tithi. The Aparahna time for Bhai Dooj will be from 1:17 PM to 3:38 PM on the given date and tithi. Although the Dwitya Tithi of Bhai Dooj starts on November 2 at 8:21 PM and ends on November 3 at 10:05 PM.
